Greetings Dear Readers
Below is our latest Film Review enjoy it.
Film - The Dark Knight Rises
Director - Christopher Nolan
Cast - Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman,
Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt
This week I managed to catch the new Batman movie. The Final
Movie in the Christopher Nolan Directed Trilogy.
In the movie we join a different Bruce Wayne / Batman (Christian Bale) one who walks
with a stick. A Bruce Wayne who seems to have lost his confidence and his edge.
Gotham appears to be a wonderful place to live with no crime. Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman)
seems to have cleared Gotham of all crime. We are introduced to Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) along the way, a crafty cat burglar (get it?)
We also meet the curious policeman John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who seems intent on
fighting crime.
Alfred (Michael Caine) tries to stir Bruce Wayne to make something of his life as does
Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) the man behind all the Tech in Batman's closet.
However Batman soon has a new villain to battle the extremely evil Bane.
It seems this time that Batman has met his match.
This film is based in part on the Knightfall storyline of Batman comics.
When you sit down to watch this movie the first thing that strikes you is the sound
and the music. Absolutely Perfect. In fact, perhaps at a new level. Look out for Oscar
nominations for Hans Zimmer who did the music. Sound was done by Randle Akerson,
Michael Babcock, Mark Goodernote, Richard King and many more.
Another brilliant piece of direction by Christopher Nolan and excellent acting
by the whole cast. A wonderful script and a great crew complete this movie.
This is a very well made film. I am sure people will go and see it again and again.
Rating 10 /10
