The show runs
till June 26. Loading Bay Gallery is situated in 15 Station Drive, next to The
Plant and is housed within Con Amore.
Buying art
is a very exciting process as it is not just about buying a beautiful object,
but akin to relating to something living, where ones responses to a work of art
alter daily. Yet costs often hinder one building a collection. “Under R2000” is
an exhibition which brings the public affordable art by artists of high
calibre.
There is
something for everyone, including paintings, mixed medium, ceramics,
printmaking, drawing and sculpture. Among this diverse group of artists are:
