Decorex Durban 2016 – a comprehensive showcase of the latest décor and design trends,

products and services – kicks off on 18 March 2016 and runs for four days, until 21 March, at the

Durban Exhibition Centre.

In keeping with its new theme, ‘Take it Home, Make it Home’, the Durban exhibition promises

visitors infinite takeaway ideas and inspiration for their interior and exterior spaces. Covering every

aspect of your home and offering the ultimate shopping experience, this year’s theme taps into

the very latest global design and décor trends, among these, a fresh focus on the quality, detail,

layering and timelessness of the “Considered Home”.

A pop-up market, hosted by I Heart Market, promises to delight the senses of all shoppers, running from 10am – 4pm on Saturday only.

Foodies, too, will get their fill of the fun with delicious culinary experiences and endless dining

options, from casual cafés and full-service restaurants to the perennially popular gourmet market.

Trade focused days will be on 18 and 19 March 2016.

Decorex Durban is open from 10am to 8pm on 18 to 20 March and 10am to 6pm on 21 March.

Ticket prices are R75 for adults, R65 for trade, pensioners and students and R20 for children.

The countdown has begun and Team Decorex is hard at work finalising what’s set to be the most inspiring Decorex Durban expo ever.

This year the city’s leading décor, design and lifestyle exhibition is promising a brand new take on home décor and improvement: a focus on Great Ideas that means everyone goes home armed with practical information and designs that will change your lifestyle.

Look out for exhibitors promoting useful tips and ideas, plus products and services that are new and innovative. There’ll be plenty of “Great Idea” signage to show you the way to all this delicious Decorex inspiration!

“We can’t wait to show visitors what we’ve put together for them this year,” says Sian Gutstadt, General Manager of the Decorex SA portfolio. “We’ve really encouraged our exhibitors to showcase more usable décor and home ideas than ever before – which means that your visit is going to be really worthwhile.”

Friday 20^th March, in particular, has been identified as the day not to be missed at Decorex Durban. Friday being everyone’s favourite day of the week, Decorex Durban has set up a pop up night market that’s going to take the festivities right through to 9pm.

The Upmarket Pop-Up at Decorex Durban from 3pm to 9pm on Friday 20^th March promises great market buys and affordable arts and craft that won’t be available for the rest of the weekend. After hunting for some great décor finds, visitors are invited to relax at the Consol Gourmet Food Market,

Gloria   Jeans  Coffee  Café  or  the  Unwined  Bar  by  Paul’s  Beach  House  Furniture.

The Friday Great Idea Sale at Decorex Durban, with exhibitors offering shoppers discounts and bargains that are available on that day only. “We know the weekend starts early and on Friday we want to make sure everyone gets to Decorex Durban in time to enjoy the best of local décor and design – as well as delicious eats and time with their friends,” says Sian.

There’s great incentive to be the first ones through the door on both Thursday and Friday: The first 5000 visitors to Decorex Durban will receive a goodie bag valued at more than R150.00 plus you stand to win prizes valued at more than R20 000. Look out for entry forms and more information in the Daily News in the week leading up to the show as well as in the Visitor Show Guide for where to enter these fantastic competitions. Entry forms can be posted in the competition boxes at exhibitor stands and remember: You have to come to the show on Thursday 19^th March or Friday 20^th March, to enter.
