Exhibition of original art
in the Durban Botanic Gardens

An exhibition of original art by highly talented
South African artists will be on display under the palm trees at the lake on
Sunday 27 November. The artists are
members of various art groups from the south coast, the Midlands, the north
coast and greater Durban. All the
artwork will be for sale.
More than 40 local artists will
be exhibiting offering a wide range of styles and subject matter. Many of the artists have exhibited both
locally and overseas and their work can be found hanging in private homes,
hotels, galleries and offices around the world.
A personal gift of an
original piece of artwork makes a very special personal gift. Christmas is around the corner and what a
wonderful opportunity to support local artists.
Short interludes of easy
listening musical entertainment will add to the relaxed ambience during the
day. Why not visit the Tea Garden and enjoy
a real treat of homemade scrumptious scones and syrupy crumpets. The cheerful volunteers give generously of
their time to raise funds for the South African Tuberculosis Association,
another of South Africa’s worthy institutions.
