“We’re very proud to have
co-hosted the Durban premiere of Mandela: Long Walk To
Freedom. The film is
amazing and is a beautifully told story of Mandela’s life and his experiences. Idris Elba, along with his fellow cast
members, has done a great job in portraying Mandela as a man who values love,
patience, trust and family – it’s an excellent portrayal of the book. I feel even prouder to be a South
African after watching Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom. I’d also like to use this opportunity to congratulate Anant Singh and
everybody who worked behind the scenes on a job well done,”
says Akash Maharaj,
Centre Manager at Gateway Theatre of Shopping.
The movie will be released at all Ster Kinekor cinemas on the 28th of November 2013 while there
will be paid sneak screenings on 23 and 24 November.
